Estrogen Matters

DHEA: More than a Precursor Hormone

This session will explore the evolving role of DHEA, traditionally seen as a precursor to estradiol and testosterone, in preventative medicine. It will highlight DHEA’s impact on metabolic processes, its deficiencies in chronic disease states, and its immunomodulating and anti-inflammatory effects. Additionally, the session will review recent findings on DHEA receptors in the brain and its role in neuropsychology.

Shifting the Thyroid Hormone Treatment Paradigm

This session will review evidence-based data regarding the role of the active thyroid hormone in the primary body systems- cardiovascular, neurological, musculoskeletal, psychological, and reproductive. Thyroid physiology and the various thyroid hormone prescribing modalities will be reviewed as well as the ethical implications of advanced thyroid hormone prescribing and documentation.

Mighty Melatonin

This session will explore the evolving role of melatonin, traditionally recognized as a sleep regulator, in chronic disease and cancer prevention. It will highlight melatonin’s impact on mitochondrial function, its deficiencies in inflammatory conditions, and its significant role in insulin homeostasis. Additionally, the session will review emerging evidence on melatonin’s broad implications in cancer risk, particularly among night-shift workers.

Female Androgen Insufficiency Syndrome

This session will clarify the evolving landscape of androgen therapy for women, addressing the growing demand and persistent confusion surrounding its clinical applications. It will detail the pathophysiology of female androgen insufficiency, explore evidence-based treatment options, and emphasize safety and efficacy. Additionally, the session will address the complexities of women’s health society guidelines and provide guidance on appropriate diagnosis and management.

Once you have registered for a program, you will see access instructions immediately on the webpage. You will also be emailed a confirmation of registration that includes direct access. Finally, you can always access programs, credits and certificates via ‘My Dashboard’.

To access programs via ‘My Dashboard,’ click ‘Recent Registrations’ and then select the ‘View’ button under the course you are looking to watch. You can access resources from this same area or from the video area.

By clicking on the search icon, you will be taken to the certification result page. By clicking on the ‘Email Certificates’ button you are allowing the system to deliver your certificate(s) to your primary email address in your account.
